The online journal EntomoBrasilis, founded in 2007 by the Entomologists of Brazil (Entomologistas do Brasil) project, aims to publish original articles, quickly, of the most diverse areas of Brazilian and World Entomology.

In addition to the objective mentioned above it is the purpose of the journal, to provide quick publication of articles in the form of PDF (Portable Document File).

Peer Review Process

After receiving the text (in electronic form), it will be screened, in the electronic journal. The texts are then sent to the Section Editors, who must then select Adhoc consultants according to adopted criteria, who will receive the texts in a confidential way, preserving those responsible in the evaluation process, as well as the authors, unless they are At the time of submission, they state that they wish to be public actors in the process, be it authorship or consulting. Two (02) Adhoc Consultants will be selected for each text submitted to EntomoBrasilis, and if a Consultant rejects the text, it will be submitted to another Advisor, however two (02) unfavorable opinions automatically implies rejection of the text by EntomoBrasilis and return to the authors, with due consideration provided by the Consultants. The Editor-in-Chief or Assistante Editors may also act as adhoc Consultants.

AntiPlagiarum

EntomoBrasilis adopted anti-plagiarism tools. All articles submitted as of March 2015, go through the three plagiarism detection tools.

Archiving policy

Our Journal has automatic preservation in LOCKSS.

Publication Frequency

EntomoBrasilis (ISSN 1983-0572, doi:10.12741) started in 2008, is a eletronic journal, that published three times per year (2008-2019) and current publishes in continuous flow (2020-).

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides greater democratization of knowledge worldwide.
